WVOX radio interview with DAnny Bernstein

On September 20, 2017, Backyard Sports was given the incredible opportunity to co-host a local radio show through WVOX and Wartburg Cares Radio. Produced by Angela Ciminello, Vice President of Development and Marketing at the Wartburg Adult Care Community in Mount Vernon, Backyard Sports Cares Executive Director, Danny Bernstein and Dillon Faulkner, were able to share their thoughts on what makes Backyard Sports so special for the WVOX listeners Wednesday morning.

Backyard Sports’ Fall Plus programming and Prep Basketball League at SUNY Purchase were featured topics, as well as some of Backyard Sports’ most rewarding and exciting ongoing community programs, such as early morning soccer at the Jefferson Elementary School in New Rochelle and Birthday parties at the Coachman Family Center in White Plains. Backyard Sports continues to find new ways to reach children and serve communities in need of quality sports programming and play.

On Saturday, September 23rd, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Backyard Sports will provide recreational programming for the Wartburg Fall Festival on the beautiful Wartburg Historic Campus at One Wartburg Place, Mount Vernon, NY. Come visit us at the Backyard Sports tent for mini-soccer games, corn hole, relay races, obstacle courses and a GaGa pit provided by Scott Blumberg and Talon Athletics. Festival admission is free of charge and includes a Children’s Area, Food Trucks, Live Entertainment, Shopping, and the annual Wartburg Alumni Homecoming.
