We just concluded a successful soccer camp in partnership with the New Rochelle Board of Education. Camp Shape provided 60 participants ages 7-15 yrs. old with a fun and challenging 4 week program. Highlights included skill contests, a mini world cup tournament, camper vs. counselor All Star Games, and a visit to Red Bulls Stadium to see the Red Bulls play against the Columbus Crew. Staff was lead by David Villalabos and a team of dedicated high school and college players representing teams from across the area.
In addition to the soccer program, Peter Nestel, head Men’s Coach at Purchase College coordinated a tennis program attended by over 50 players from the New Rochelle School District.
