On October 14, 2018, Backyard Sports Cares held its 5th annual 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament at The Westchester County Center. Over 200 people attended the event including 28 local teams with 150 players participating. Former MLB Pitcher Dwight "Doc" Gooden was on hand to support the participants and the BYS Plus All Star Special Need's Athletes gathered for a half time scrimmage and skills session. Over $80,000 was raised to help and support our programs for under-served and special needs children experience the joy of team sports.
