BTIG, a global financial service firm, presented Backyard Sports Cares a check in the amount of $50,000 as a nominated organization in its 2014 Charity Day. Since its inception in 2003, BTIG has donated over $28 million in commission profits to hundreds of charitable organizations around the world. Numerous celebrities from the sports and entertainment world participate in the event. This year’s luminaries included:Shaquille O’Neal, Eli Manning, Mariano Rivera, Tom Coughlin, Woody Johnson, Joe Girardi, Miss America, and Matt Dillon.
