The United States Tennis Association (USTA) and BYSC share a mission; to spread the game and love for tennis to all and through our partnership we have been able to do just that! Each year BYSC provides comprehensive tennis instruction to more than 300 special needs and underserved youth throughout Westchester. On any given day of the week, BYSC is offering the USTA sponsored “QuickStart“ program. This methodology, which makes learning tennis more accessible, uses smaller racquets,softer balls and can be taught with or without a traditional size tennis court. BYSC has run programs this year in Eastchester, Lakeland, White Plains, Port Chester, New Rochelle and at our flagship special needs program”PLUS” on Sundays. Through June, we offer instruction at Sound Shore Indoor Tennis, which gives tennis enthusiasts in our underserved communities a chance to play on a real court with professional instruction.
