On Sunday, March 17th, over 150 players and nearly an equal amount of spectators filled the Knicks/MSG Training Center in Greenburgh for the inaugural Backyard Sports Cares 3X3 Adult Basketball tournament to raise funds for our community. Based on the faces of the players and spectators alike the inaugural event was a resounding success. The event provided a “dream day” for the players, including a special scrimmage game by players from our BYS Plus program. Special celebrity guests included Earl “The Pearl” Monroe , John Wallace, and Felipe Lopez. The Knicks City Dancers were also on hand to perform and offer a photo op with the players. The event raised over $60,000.00. A warm and special thanks to all of our families, community partners and sponsors who made this event such a success.
