The Mamaroneck High School girls Varsity volleyball players wanted to share their love of the sport with others and found that opportunity through BYSC. Every Tuesday for 5 weeks, 6 MHS high schoolers brought their talents to the Elm Street Youth Center in Yonkers. The Elm Street Youth Center serves over 250 children daily from at risk areas in Yonkers. MHS Varsity Volleyball Captain Emily Holzberg found the whole experience rewarding because they played volleyball with kids nearer their own age which helped them to bond.
