The gala honored Backyard Sports Cares board members, Michael Moser and David Shuster for their outstanding dedication and valuable years of contribution to the organization’s mission.

“Simply stated, our mission is to provide high-quality recreational programming to children who have limited access to traditional youth sports programs either because they live in underserved communities or they have special needs,” said Danny Bernstein, executive director, Backyard Sports Cares. “The high caliber skills and expertise from board members, like Michael and David, along with funding from generous supporters, sponsors, neighbors, friends, family, and volunteers has been vital to our mission and continues to enable BYSC to touch the lives of more than 3,000 deserving children in Westchester each year. Thank you!”

Sponsored by Advocate Brokerage Corp., Fidelis Care, New York Sports Medicine Institute, PM Pediatrics, and Valerie Wilson Travel, the gala drew maximum capacity with 300+ attendees and raised more than $300,000, which will fund various sports programs for disadvantaged and special needs kids in Westchester, NY.
