BYSC charity basketballOn Saturday, March 29th BYSC hosted its second annual Three-on-Three Basketball Tournament at the MSG Training Center in Tarrytown. More than 150 players, some invited from underserved neighborhoods through local sponsorships, provided a unique “community building” experience.

The Knicks City Dancers and retired Knicks legends Larry Johnson and John Starks were on-hand to support the 35 teams and the BYSC special needs “All Star” players. Our BYSC “All Stars” were assisted in their half-time scrimmage by local high school volunteer peer mentors, highlighting BYSC unique teaching methodology. A warm and special thanks to all of our families, community partners and sponsors who made this event such a great success.

BYSC 2nd annual basketball tournament was attended by more than 500 players and spectators raising more than $40,000 to help young athletes with limited access to community programs and children with special needs.
