This summer, in collaboration with the White Plains Youth Bureau, Backyard Sports’ coaches are providing daily sports and recreation to nearly 200 campers at the White Plains Youth Bureau Bits N’ Pieces Camp, located at Church Street Elementary School.
On July 22, BYS held its annual field day giving campers a chance to participate in an array of activities, including basketball, soccer, tug of war, races, and an adventure project. Coaches, Josh Wasserman, Kyle Koslowsky and Max Bunzel, assisted with the event.
The following Friday, the Backyard Sports coaches were challenged by the White Plains staff to a basketball game that was viewed by the entire camp. The team was well represented by coaches, Josh Wasserman, Shane Wolfe, Eric Stitzer, and Elliot Graham.
