Third through eighth grade campers from the City School District of New Rochelle’s Camp Shape took to the soccer field to scrimmage with their coaches, comprised of high school and college students from Backyard Sports.
The day camp runs throughout July from 9am-12pm at New Rochelle High School. The kids enjoy a variety of sports activity, including soccer, tennis, and basketball.
Incoming New Rochelle 9th graders help out around camp as counselors in training (CITs). The best part is, everyone gets to play their favorite sport, socialize, and make new friends with other kids from around the community.
